Being a teenager is becoming more difficult to enjoy. There are so many obstacles that influence teens in negative ways. Rock Your Life! suggests ways for teens to overcome their problems and to find possible resources. It may seem like another repeated lecture being forced upon, but Rock Your Life! is created by teens, just like you, who want to discuss the issues in ways that teens are more receptive to.
I feel this project has the potential to give teens the ability to express their views without being judged or ridiculed because they will be discussing things with other teens who have similar problems, maybe even possible ways to deal with them.

Many people will say that your teenage years are the best years of your life. Rock Your Life! is striving to make that true. Teens are faced with issues like drugs, sex, violence, peer pressure, and suicide every day. Every single issue hits close to home and effects us every day. I know how it feels to have nowhere to turn and no one to talk to. Rock Your Life! has helped me face these issues and i hope it will help others as well. My main goes with Rock Your Life! is to give other teens a place to go and someone to trust.

I want nothing more than to help people, especially young people. We are the future of this world and I fully believe that we are and will be the generation to change this world for the better. I've always supported other causes such as To Write Love On Her Arms, Music For Relief, and Invisible Children. To create something so great and so unique that helps people through creativity and music is something powerful and special. I'm a firm believer that music can save and help anyone, I believe music connects us all and inspires us all in ways that we are not even aware of. Half the time the words of our favorite songs are screaming the feelings that affect us every day. I don't want anyone to ever feel like they don't belong or that they are too different to fit in. Everyone belongs and everyone deserves to be happy, and if this project helps at least one person overcome obstacles in their life then I will know that I have done my part in making this everything that i hoped it could be and more. Seize The Day.
I believe that everyday people should wake up with a smile on their face and optimism in their hearts. I believe we should tell our friends "hey I'm glad you're my friend" and really mean it or even better walk up to a complete stranger and tell them "hey i like your shoes" while offering them a smile and walking away with the feeling that you just made their day better and brighter. I believe the kinder things in life should be shared and enjoyed more than on rare occasions.
I hope that Rock Your Life! can become something bigger and greater. I want it to give you the inspiration to smile at a stranger or tell your best friend why they are your best friend. I want this to inspire you to wake up every morning and seize the day. If this can bring a little bit of peace and comfort to a life full of stress and unglamorous things then I will be happy. I want you to wake up in the morning and put on your favorite t-shirt and drink coffee till you're warm inside. I hope you wake up and listen to your favorite song on repeat so loud that it's stuck in your head for the rest of the day. I hope you sing that song to everyone you see with a smile on your face to put a smile on theirs as well.
More than anything I want this to be more than a great idea, I want this to evolve and be more than a website, I want it to bring you motivation to meet new people, to try new things, to be hopeful on a bad morning when you didn't wake up so great. I hope these words are more than just letters on a screen that you read because someone told you to. Let these words inspire you and make you want to live your life to the fullest with every single intent of reaching your dreams. There is a light at the end of every tunnel, some tunnels just happen to be longer than others.
We are kids who want to make the best of what we've been given, that's hard sometimes, but we're not alone. To conquer your greatest fears and reach out for something greater you're going to need friends, you're going to need people who share the same ideas and love for life that you do. With your friends by your side you will always have a support system when you falter. You are not alone in this. Life is what you make of it and you should make the best of it. Grab your friends, you're favorite energy drinks, your favorite CDs to listen and dance to, and make each day an adventure. Smile and laugh like there is no tomorow and make memories with the people that you surround yourself with and hold them close. Go to football games and cheer on your favorite team, go to concerts and sing with your favorite bands, go to the mall and take crazy pictures in the store mirrors, go to the movies, read book and magazines, try new foods, experience all that life has to offer.
